Bringing Joy and Connection to De Werf
On Saturday, March 14th, colleagues came together for a meaningful NLdoet afternoon at care home De Werf in Amsterdam. Together, we cycled to the location and helped create a warm and cheerful experience for residents and caregivers.
The afternoon was filled with a variety of activities, including games, shuffleboard, a photo shoot, flower arranging, hand massages, nail manicures, storytelling, music, singing, and of course tasty snacks and drinks.
One of the highlights of the day was a special visit from the Easter Bunny, bringing even more smiles and festive energy to everyone involved.
It was a beautiful example of how small gestures, time, and attention can make a big difference. The laughter, conversations, and shared moments made the afternoon truly special for both the residents and all colleagues who volunteered.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who dedicated their own time and energy to make this event such a success. Your commitment perfectly reflects the spirit of Social Awareness Day and the importance of giving back to the community.
